Wind effect is over exaggerated in Wii 2. You will never putt as well as you putt in Wii (10 foot putts are not routine and you will rarely make a 20-25 foor putt 3. Wow, for the life of me, I cannot master Tiger Woods putting. Perhaps one ruins the other. After Wii golfing for about 1 month and having played golf regularly in the past I make the following observations about a thoroughly enjoyable game versus real golfing:

We like the wind, the trees and our little Miis. We are playing at about 6 under par. We are ready for new courses but would like them to be similar the the expecience of the wii sports golf. We can't tell if in the Tiger Woods game you can still play with your Miis. Silly but its all so new to us.... We are new Wii owners and love the golf.
